Rickettsiales, which includes Anaplasmataceae (Anaplasma, Ehrlichia) and Rickettsiaceae (Rickettsia) primarily, is parasitic on red blood cells of human or animal. it is originated from family ixodidae. Mainly distributed in trophical and subtrophical region so far, but are showing increased global distribution by global warming effect. Rickettsiales-related diease is distributed globally in livestocks. It is mediated by 3 kinds of ticks in their host, which are found in korea. Once-infected animal may mediate infection of those microbials to other animals, and would bring huge damage to livestock farmers. Influx of infected animals, as well as mediation by ticks, may change disease-negative nation into the diease-positive one, Endemicregion. Rickettsiales-infected human or animal shows symptoms including anemia by hemolysis, fatigue, loss of appetite, headache, high fever and chill at 1~4 week after infection. It may result in fatality if immunesuppressed animals are infected.

Sensitivity analysis is used Rickettsiales, diluted 10-fold serial (lane 1 ~ 4 : 7 x 104 ~ 7 x 10 copies). [PCR condition? 95°C 15min., 95°C 10sec 58°C 45sec (40cycles), 72°C 5min]. Load 3 ul PCR product on 2% TBE Agarose gel, containing Ethidium bromide (Et-Br), perform electrophoresis (30~40min).
