Overview
V. anguillarum causes vibriosis to fish and induces high mortality and economic loss in aquaculture. V. anguillarum is pathogenic to marine fish and crustaceans as well as farmed fish such as yellowtail, halibut and rainbow trout.
Symptoms of V. anguillarum infection include blackening of the body, formation of ulcers, fin hemorrhage, and hemorrhagic septicemia.
