Overview

V. ichthyoenteri is a gram-negative bacterium known to be one of the causative agents of Vibrio intestinal turbidity. V. ichthyoenteri is pathogenic to flounder fry. Infected flatfish become lethargic, lose their appetite, and die due to cloudy or ulcerated digestive tracts.

Sensitivity
By applying the patented PyroHotStart(Enzyme-mediated HotStart) technology that minimizes non-specific reactions and maximizes reaction efficiency, only the target gene can be effectively amplified even with a trace amount of template DNA.
