Overview

E. faecalis is a gram-positive bacterium found in soil, water, and plants as well as human and livestock intestines. E. faecalis causes food poisoning, periodontitis, urinary tract infection, and wound infection. In addition, it can survive in high salt and temperatures, it is easily found even in products that have undergone salt treatment and sterilization treatment. It is also known to be resistant to strong antibiotics such as vancomycin.

Sensitivity
By applying the patented PyroHotStart(Enzyme-mediated HotStart) technology that minimizes non-specific reactions and maximizes reaction efficiency, only the target gene can be effectively amplified even with a trace amount of template DNA.
