Overview
Perkinsus marinus (PM) infection, one of the parasitic diseases of oysters, has clinical signs such as paleness of digestive gland, emaciation, lack of growth, mantle retraction, and reduced gonad development. PM mainly occurs in the United States, Mexico, and countries along the Pacific Coast, and is an aquatic disease listed by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH).

All necessary reactants for RT-qPCR such as RocketScript™ RTase, HotStart Taq DNA polymerase are included in a tube allowing the users to perform reaction simply by adding template DNA, oligo mix, and DEPC-D.W.

By using BIONEER’s PyroHotStart RT reaction and HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase that minimizes non-specific reactions and maximizes reaction efficiency, only the target gene can be effectively amplified even with a trace amount of template DNA
