AccuPower® Diarrhea V1 & V2 Real-Time RT-PCR Kit is an in-vitro diagnostic kit for diagnosing infection of acute viral diarrhea by qualifying Norovirus, Adenovirus, Rotavirus, Astrovirus, and Sapovirus genes in fecal samples of a patient with acute viral diarrhea using the Real-Time Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction(Real-time RT-PCR) method.
Acute diarrheal disease is the second most common infectious disease in the world. In particular, an accurate diagnosis is important because infectious diarrheal disease can cause secondary transmission.
This kit helps in diagnosis by simultaneously detecting Norovirus(GI/GII), Rotavirus, Enteric adenovirus, Astrovirus and Sapovirus which are the viruses that cause acute diarrhea.
