Gene to Protein Service is an integrated “gene synthesis-protein synthesis” service which can provide proteins and genes within at least 2 weeks at a reasonable price. Depending on the method of gene synthesis, it is classified as Standard and Cloning-free service with a wide variety of synthesizable proteins.

1. Standard Service
Standard Service synthesizes genes based on our Gene Synthesis Service. It is cloned into an expression vector for E. coli, followed by the protein synthesis service.

2. Cloning-free Service
Cloning-free Service synthesizes genes based on our AccuGeneBlock Service. PCR products are used to synthesize proteins. This service takes shorter time to complete than the other.

1) Canceling your order within 5 days after receiving the confirmation email will charge 50% of the original price. After 5 days, 80% of the fee will be charged.
2) Additional costs may be charged upon requesting complicated sequences such as containing high or low GC content, repeat sequences or homopolymeric runs.
3) Failing protein synthesis will only cost $300 of set up charge. However, the gene synthesis fee will be charged normally. The synthesized gene will be sent along with the data report.

How can I use the service?

All the services are available online.

Select the service and enter the required information. Add the product to the cart and proceed to payment for the order conformation.

How is Gene to Protein Service carried out?

After synthesizing the gene of the protein ordered, protein expression is done through ExiProgen™, along with purification.

The synthesized gene that expresses the target protein is added to the protein synthesis kit, mounted on an ExiProgen™ instrument, and run as described in the manual to obtain the purified protein easily.

What is the difference between Standard Gene to Protein Service and Cloning-free Gene to Protein Service?

Standard Gene to Protein Service synthesizes the target gene (300 bp~3000 bp). Then, it is cloned to expression vector (pBT7-N-His or pBT7-C-His) in the form of a plasmid. Afterwards, it is mounted in the protein synthesis kit for the target protein recovery.

Cloning-free Gene utilizes AccuGeneBlock service (300 bp~1000 bp). The gene is synthesized in the form of PCR product to be directly applied to the protein expression kit.

What is the composition of the buffer containing the protein sample? What if I want to change it?

We provide the basic protein dissolved in the following buffer.

Normal Proteins: 50 mM Tris-Cl (pH7.6), 100 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.05% NaN3, 50% Glycerol

Disulfide Proteins: 50 mM Tris-Cl (pH7.6), 100 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.05% NaN3, 50% Glycerol

If you want to receive your proteins in a specific buffer, please state its name in the order form. However, please note that additional time and costs will be required.
