AccuPower® Norovirus Real-Time RT-PCR Kit
Norovirus is an RNA virus of the Caliciviridae family and infects people regardless of age and infection occurs sporadically
throughout the world. The potential for norovirus infection can occur in food poisoning even with very low virus numbers, and transmission
through bodily fluids. Most norovirus infections can be overcome without particular treatment. Although severe dehydration or electrolyte
imbalance may occur, common intervention methods such as saline treatment can remedy these symptoms. Detection of norovirus presence occurs
through PCR of fecal samples of patients.
The AccuPower® Norovirus Real-Time RT-PCR Kit is an in vitro diagnostic kit designed for the detection of norovirus (GⅠ, GⅡ)
RNA in human samples such as stool and rectal swab through real-time PCR using Exicycler™ 96 or ABI systems.
